Your performance in Rome was the best acting I have ever seen. I consider myself quite the film buff. I've seen all the greats from silent films to modern day. I was moved and excited with your performance.
I only hope you will continue acting!! I wish, I could articulate my sincere appreciation for your work. Plus, you are super HOT!!
Love, K.B.

Hi Mr. Purefoy. My name is Franz, and I am a nurse from the Philippines. When I first watched Vanity Fair, I was so astounded by your acting prowess. I also watched both seasons of Rome. I wish to watch Beau Brummell, but the only BBC we have here is the BBC News Channel. Anyways, nice job on playing Rawdon Crawley. I have read the novel, and the role fits you like a glove.
God bless on your career.

Would like to say "Thank you", for all the wonderful, so varied work. The performance as Mark Antony is truly, astounding. I was stunned. I've seen the Shakespearean ' Antony and Cleopatra' on stage many times but never before spontaneously burst into tears and continued to sniffle for about half an hour ! You bring intelligence, humour, unpredictability, emotion, truth and subtlety, to every role. It is always, an absolute joy to watch you bring characters to life. If audiences , could award Oscars etc..you'd have a shedful. Was initially disappointed that you weren't cast as James Bond because you'd have been mind blowing, but on second thoughts - it would have been something of a waste, of such a brilliant actor. Masterclass acting....we are so lucky, to be able to enjoy it. All the very best to you and yours.

James, its always a pleasure to view your works. Thank you for bringing Mark Anthony to life as well as Blackbeard. Both of these roles peaked my interest in you and since then I have been on a mission to view all your other films. I also thank Nada and Nettie (faithful JP fans) for creating JamesPurefoy.us, a beautiful website dedicated to you, so all of your fans can gather and share our enthusiasm over you.
You always makes us proud with both your movies, as well as your charity involvements.
Cheers to you,
Your forever fan!

A magnificent actor gifted in his art. I could listen to him reading the phone book, and watch him watching paint dry. Fantastic in Rome. And gorgeous to look at.

He's an absolutely fabulous actor. He blew me away in "Rome". And he's a feast for the eyes. What more could a girl ask for?

James is a darling, a joy to watch, soothing to listen to, and one of the greatest talents in the already extraordinary collection of amazing actors in the UK! Bottom line... James just makes us want more, more, more! ;)

How I met James Purefoy:
I met James many years ago when I was attending a celebrity Cricket match in which his co-star at the time [Peter Howitt] was playing. As I was making my way out of the ground my friend who I was with turned and said "Isn't that the other guy from Coasting". As I turned to look, James was looking back at me and gave me a wink and one of his fantastic smiles. Needless to say, I had to then go back and talk to him, I've been hooked ever since!!

Why I would like to meet James Purefoy:
My sister has dreams that somehow, sometimes become true. She told me that I would meet this guy and that we would fall in love and blah, blah, blah. I dont even knew about James Purefoy until my sister told me about him(According to her he is the guy in her dream). I know that Cinderella and living happily everafter stories are no longer in effect, but still Im just curious about this total stranger to me.My sister is a fan of the series "Rome" but I haven't seen that either. I just saw a movie that my sis told me about "The Dragon Sword" and that's it . He is kind of cute but He is a far, far away " sophisticated star" and Im a simple woman who works as A Teacher Assistant in a small town in Texas. Well lets see if "Prince Charming" wants to know a "simple peasant"
