How I met Walter Disney

How I met Walter Disney:

On November 13th, 1962, a friend and I who shared the same birhtdate went to Disneyland to celebrate together.  Just after entering the park we got on one of the horse drawn trolleys to ride up Main Street. As we left the circular area and began to merge onto the street, a man emerged from one of the buildings and began to trot towards the trolley.  We watched as he jumped onto our moving trolley.

As kids, we knew this guy was going to get yelled at, for sure!  But instead the driver called out over his shoulder, "Hey, Walt.  How're you doin'?  "Just fine," came the reply, as this man made his way back to the seat just in front of Randy and me.

He sat, sideways in the bench and hung his arm over, giving us both a pat on the knee as he asked, "How about you boys, how are you doin'?"  "GREAT!," we both very nearly yelled at him.  To which he replied, "That's just fine fella's, I'm glad to hear it!"

It was a one of a kind, great day, I will never forget
